Question AIO Laser Printer Recommendation

JPS35

Senior member
Time for a new printer and thinking of switching from inkjet to laser. This is for minimal home and student use to print (two sided), copy, scan, and fax. Color not needed. I would like a small footprint, but also understand they are larger than ink jets. Thoughts and recommendations?

The MFC-2750DWs are hard to beat for the price. Small, for multifunction machines, include auto-duplex, wireless, will accept up to 4500 page high yield cartridges, and are otherwise pretty decent. If you don't need faxing and more limited scan features, the DCP-2550DW is a lot cheaper.

BTW, you can purchase refurbished 2750DWs direct from Brother (and some other retailers like Staples) for about $80 less than new ones. I've never purchased a Brother refurb that didn't look and work just like a new one.

The lower end Canon multifunctions are also decent.

Thank you. Based on GoodRevrnd and your recommendation, I am checking out the 2750. Seems a refurbished for $180 might be a great deal.
