AIM with tabbed browsing???

i hate tabbed IM windows, its one of the first things i turn off in trillian and containers, i hate them also, as well as that damn word underlineing bullsh!t
 
I like grouping my buddies. I put my buddies in one window. My hoes in another window. My gf and her friends in another window and my college chums in another window....
 
Tabbed AIM is crap. In gaim you ahve to scroll scroll scroll. When you h ave 2 ppl IMing you at once, you can't tell teh 2nd person IMed you becaue you can't see their window flash. Only the main window flashes, and as long as you read 1 person's IM, it won't flash anymore. Thus when I use GAIM at work, I end up ignoring like 5 ppl because I never knew they IMed me.

And the people I know who used tabbed AIM have trouble responding to me too... it's stupid.

Tabbed browsing is nice, but not a definite need. I still use IE. It just depends on which i feel like clicking on.
 
i loved tabbed IMs. i'm often in enough that it's convenient to have them stored in one tabbed window. i'm glad i use deadAIM. 🙂

That's one of the reasons I switched back to DeadAIM + AIM from GAIM.
 
ill just add that if you people are talking to soo many peopel on teh comp that you cant just have seperate windows open that you really need to get out more and so do the people you talk to

that goes for browsing as well...why would you need 10 different IE windows open?
