AIM Text Highlighting Problem

Whenever there is a significant amount of text or a link in an AIM profile, when I begin to highlight any text, the entire profile will scroll down, not letting me highlight the desired text. Also, when I try to click on a link, often only the first few characters of it are clickable!

Any ideas appreciated.

This is the proper forum to ask this question. He should be getting legitimate answers. Besides stop using AIM, I'm sure someone has experienced this and has found something to either disable this feature and or get around it.
 
Sometimes when I highlight text to copy, I can't break the highlight at the point I want to, and have to highlight additional lines in order to break it.
