So I installed the Get It Now application that is free an allows you to chat on your AIM, MSN or Yahoo client.

I called Verizon and asked them because I was suspiscious.
Well... it turns out that it uses standard TXT messages for EACH sent and EACH received line or message. Those are $0.10 each if you don't have a package deal for a bunch of TXT Messages.

Be warned... a simple chat session can cost a few bucks. :)

Lesson learned.
