for some reason i can;t send any files through aim but can receive with no problem. i think it's my isp, what are some of the things that i can do?
 
Try uploading to someplace else. Try uploading to yousendit.com for example. If you cant upload files at all to any site, this would be an indication something is wrong with the upoad portion of your broadband service. You could also try a different program like Yahoo messenger and try sending files with that.

You could also go into your AIM preferences and go the the "File Transfer" category and put 80 for the "Port number to use"
 
well, i can upload to other things fine, it's just aim transfer that doesn't work. and i changed the port to 80 too. i was able to receive fine though.
