Is there any way around this? I mean, can I do a registry change? Or is there some way of tricking IE into thinking the file is smaller than it really is? I have a neat animated .gif I want to use but it's too big!
 
You could just change the size of it by saving into a different quality using a # of gif editors.

OR..

You could find yourself a new picture that you also like.

Registry stuff isn't good to play with if you don't know what you're doing. 😀
