I just tried logging onto my account and it said "Your account is currently suspended"

Having no problems with my accounts... Just save your buddy list to a file like I do. That way you can import it if you ever get bumped.
 
Damn it.... my secondary account got "locked"... this makes no sense... Luckily my main account still works... Buddy list is now saved from there just in case they decide to lock my Main Aim account as well =T

Anyone know if there is a way for AIM users to bring back their "locked" accounts except for signing up for AOL??

Just an update for anyone with a suspended account. I just successfully logged onto my formerly suspended account. You may want to check it out.

sorry to bump an "old" thread, but my friend is having this problem now. it isn't saying her account is suspended, it just won't let her log on at all. has been this way for the past day or so. any new info?

*edit* when she tries to login on the aim homepage it says the username or password is invalid. shes freaking out🙁
 
holy crap, thanks for the bump hdeck!! i thought my account was forever lost and hadnt bothered to try and login lately, but after reading a few posts up right now and trying to log into my account, i was able to successfully! :beer: for a thread bump!

Actually, it would. Trillian stores contacts locally (in an .XML), which seems to be chief complaint other than the account being suspended. Even if one adds or deletes an additional/primary account, the contacts remain.

hdeck, I didn't read the rest of this thread (first few posts only), but this problem happened to my girlfriend a while back. basically its some sort of glitch in AIMs software where they periodically "delete" peoples accounts. they will catch on and fix it in about a week, probably. nothing you can do for now except wait.
