So i had a lot of people ask what exactly my main machine is.

The long Wip is posted here on XS:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/f...howthread.php?t=220158

The shorten version is below.. 😛

Case: Mountain Mods U2 + Pedistool

Hardware:
Motherboard: eVGA Classified
CPU: i7 975 D0
Hard Drive: 3 Raptors Raid 0
VideoCard: 2 x HD4870X2
PSU: Ultra 1600W

Cooling: Tri Loop
PA120.3 + Cpu Loop.
MCR320 + MCR320 Stack on GPU loop
PA160 on Board Loop

Pumps: Quad Pumps
Dual DDC-2 package on CPU loop
DDC-3.2 in series on GPU loop
DDC-3.2 on board loop.

Blocks:
DD HD4807X2 on gpu's.
Koolance-350 on cpu
Koolance Classified Board Blocks

So her evolution begins here... This is the case which has been the bulk of my foundation:
http://i125.photobucket.com/al...aigomorla/IMG_0671.jpg

Inside that case Fits this board:
http://i125.photobucket.com/al...la/Haruhi/IMG_1384.jpg

Hard drives are located on the side here:
http://i125.photobucket.com/al...la/Haruhi/IMG_1389.jpg

The completed side looks like this:
http://i125.photobucket.com/al...la/Haruhi/IMG_1385.jpg

The cooling system:
The cpu is cooled by this setup:
http://i125.photobucket.com/al...la/Haruhi/IMG_1352.jpg

The pump is a dual ddc-2 top and uses 2 pumps in a serial config.
http://i125.photobucket.com/al...aigomorla/IMG_0081.jpg

I use this reservoir in this config for it.
http://i125.photobucket.com/al...la/Haruhi/IMG_1310.jpg

The radiators are located in the pedistool portion of the MM case.
http://i125.photobucket.com/al...la/Haruhi/IMG_1386.jpg

There are 4 rads in that compartment.

The GPU uses this complex:
http://i125.photobucket.com/al...la/Haruhi/IMG_1353.jpg

Its basically a DDC-3.2 with XSPC top hardmounted to an EK Style Res like this:
http://i125.photobucket.com/al...la/Miyuki/IMG_1335.jpg

I run DangerDen Blocks for my HD4870X2's hard bridged with a bitspower Dplug:
http://i125.photobucket.com/al...la/Haruhi/IMG_1309.jpg

The Radiator is a dual MCR320 serialed. The side is confied like this:
http://i125.photobucket.com/al...la/Haruhi/IMG_1388.jpg

The Board Loop is driven by this:
http://i125.photobucket.com/al...la/Haruhi/IMG_1378.jpg

The koolance blocks not installed on the board:
http://i125.photobucket.com/al...la/Haruhi/IMG_1374.jpg

The 24/7 settings i keep on this machine right now is:
http://i125.photobucket.com/al...gomorla/Capture-10.jpg

However when im bored i can go on eleet and bump multi and voltage to this:
http://i125.photobucket.com/al...aigomorla/Capture5.jpg

Why its only 90% is because i have a chiller coming in soon, and i intend to do a bypass on the cpu loop so i can jump from rad to chiller.

Also i need to do a TON of wire cleaning.... :T

Thanks for reading.

man you have me drooling now and i only just glanced at a few of those pics. im really looking forward to the end of the summer, when i should have enough saved up after a $650 tube based desktop headphone amp, to put my first loop together. until then, here's to hoping i can get my Q9650 past 4ghz stable under a megahalems + push/pull low speed yates

Aigo, in a word - beautiful.

And just to make me feel little more sad about my own rig, can you post a Spi 32M run? And some cinebench R10 results? Your 24x7 config will do just fine.

I'm curious what the power-consumption is like when you add LC to the equation...any ideas how much more power your rig consumes versus having the same clockspeeds (with Vcc's bumped accordingly to compensate for stability at higher temps) while running the gpus and cpu on air cooling? Is it tens of watts difference, or hundreds?

sure spi32 is coming up.

i need to find cinebench R10.

I was honestly kinda worried this might be too much for this this forum, but the classified trophy post pushed me to post my classified.

Aigo that is a kick ass rig. Like IDC, I'm interested to know what bench scores you get.

Have you still got tweedledum and tweedledee? If so, are you going to build something with them?

spi and CB will come up when i get home. 😛

tweedle dee and twiddle dum are with a friend right now on a supermicro gainestown board killing WCG scores. 😛

he was telling me somewhere around 55-60k points per day..

the average harper does 30-33K points per day. 😛

You definitely need to build a rig with those two.

Where do you get all your W.C. components from. The selection available to us poor suckers in the UK is very limited compared to the US (take for example, your dual pump top). Do you know of any one in the UK, who has a good selection of non-mainstream (or unusual) parts.

Here's the shops I know and I have used quite a few of them:
www.chilledpc.co.uk
www.watercoolingshop.co.uk
www.thecoolingshop.com/
www.candccentral.co.uk
www.overclockers.co.uk/
www.over-clock.com
www.coolercases.co.uk/
www.scan.co.uk
www.aqua-pcs.co.uk (this shop has gone bankrupt)
www.specialtech.co.uk (these guys were useless and messed me about on my last purchase)

daw its hard in the UK.

honestly id say save up for 1 large purchase and try to grab it at a US retailer and have the package shipped FEDEX to a business and not home.

That way it gets though customs faster.

I think you are right about having the items shipped from the US. I'll give it a go when I W.C. the MB.

very nice very nice. do u pay retail on all these parts? have u gotten samples/freebees/big discounts on any?

how do u afford a few $1000 rigs to throw money into when u can only use one???

All that power & you're stuck on slow HDDs 🙁

Where are your SSDs?

Nice rig though 😉

He has MMTB syndrome. His wallet is larger than all of our dreams.

whatcha talking about?

I have them connected to lan so i can play hearts on the network when company arrives.

I need the fastest computer because u know... when the cards shuffles, u need the MHZ!!

XTREME KUDOS, AIGO!

What was your budget-total outlay on this monster?

I'm lookin' at your temperatures -- superb, of course -- and the 24/7 CPU_Z voltage reading -- well within the "safe" spec from the Intel spec-sheet. GEEEESH!!

Why would 300 Mhz make much difference in your "bored" settings?

So now that i have finally had time to look at the whole thing, where are you getting your chill unit from? When i do my first loop i was hoping to include one at some point but i havent had a chance to find a place that actually sells them.

Nice rig though 😉

i had them.

3 patriot MLC's without controller. I hated it.

I might give the vertex seris a try again tho later on, however these raptors in raid are plenty fast.

@ 1 point i had up to 8 i could throw on RAID 0
http://i125.photobucket.com/al...aigomorla/IMG_1145.jpg

Id be limited to my onboard controller anyhow. 😛

Of course i could always rip my ARC-1680ix off Sammy, and for kicks and giggles try it, but that would mean pulling 6 drives off my main NAS

Oh and let me show you the PSU's i had to go though on that classified board. Talk about a PICKY BOARD with PSU's.

http://i125.photobucket.com/al...la/Haruhi/IMG_1351.jpg

Awesome. That's about all I can say. I love that your choices are based on functionality instead of bling factor.

NOW INSTALL ABOUT 50 CCFL's.

lol yea blinging a case can be hard work, and blinging a case like the one aigo has is even harder due to the sheer capacity of the thing. I really wish frys would transfer me to service so i wouldnt have to wait until august to have enough cash for my P80, so i can finally do away with my TT Armor. the armor has such horrible cable management options, and the directionality of the drive bays is such that i have wires sticking out everywhere no matter what i do. i should post some pics of what it looks like inside after i do some "cleaning" and i mount my megahalems, and then go get a pic of the inside of my 690 build which has a ton of IDE drives in it still. surprisingly enough, the 690 looks like something you would expect of a professional job, while my armor looks more like i just put everything together in a hurry lol

ok, where have i been!? haha

First of all, thanks for posting it here. I find the XS forums less user friendly than here so far & I love what you have done with your rig!!! Love the case, board, parts ect! Very nice! My new toy is a Blackberry Storm.... its nice but OS is a little quirky and the thing is just a little slow. I've also verred away from the PC scene a little to get back to lifting weights, hah.

I love the dual 355 pump!

Cheers Aigo!!!
