It appears Extremetech has news of an Israeli company who has a working prototype of an Artificial Intelligence chip, much like the PPU announced earlier this year by AGEIA. Just thought it'd be interesting to see reactions and whether or not it's a good idea. I like the idea of dedicated hardware for AI, physics, graphics etc., but it eventually adds up and costs quite a bit. I say, as many others have, nVidia or ATi, just make us a damn gaming card, with an AI chip, PPU, and GPU all in one. Or, maybe have someone make a gaming card that has sound, AI, and PPU (gaming card) to go alongside the GPU so you dont have too much on one PCB.
