Sad thing is, I bet he's right.

(Commentary = "Sad thing is, I bet he's right.")

Just imagine if GWB had turned the other cheek on 9/12/2001?
Just like Clinton turned his cheek with the WTC bombing and the Cole bombing?

That sure did us a lot of good. All it did was prompt OBL to claim that we had a "soft underbelly." I guess for some, he was right.

Uh, Clinton caught the people who did the first WTC bombing, put them in prison, and responded to the Cole by finding out who did it then creating a war plan for Al Queda, at the end of his term when he had to hand it over to the Bush administration, who threw it in the trash and de-emphasized terrorism; and his terrorism Czar Richard Clarke told the Bush team Al Queda was the #1 issue, and they demoted him.

bin Laden thought he could get the US to do all kinds of bad policies in its reaction to an attack.

For some, he was right.

Is your avatar supposed to be ironic? Like calling the huge bouncer at the bar "tiny?"

Isn't it sad when someone doesn't realize how ironic their icon is?

That's a question about you, not him.

The fact that liberals actually like this guy (Abenhajuggfa)....is amazing.

Here is the fun part. Obama is going to win. No doubt about that. (Unless a photo of him holding the Koran with a suicide belt around his waist eating KFC shows up). Then what are all these lefties going to say? America is great?

Our problems arent going away, and Obama sounds like a hawk to me. He isnt some athiest dove that the e-libs say he is. He will continue the war against AQ, and he sure wont stop our CIA/Special forces raids.

What liberals like Ahmadinejad?

Oh oops, you're lying... again.

And yes, the lefties will say that American is great when Obama wins. Just like the conservatives will go back to hating on America like they did in the Clinton days. Duh.

Except you're right that Obama is hawk. Of course he is. Liberals always believe in fighting the wars that need fighting, as opposed to just fighting for war profiteering's sake.

I agree with 99% of what the Iraninan president said.

So does the Democratic party.

Yes, only the Republican party puts country first. hail, all hail the republicans.

What do Democrats put first?

The country, of course. Only Republicans put their party first, and claim that everyone who doesn't vote straight-ticket Republican is a traitor.

The Green Bean is a Pakistani citizen with strong anti-American sentiments, you dumbass, and not well-liked here, either by Pubs or Dems.

Not many do. We do recognize that not every word he says is actually a lie. We use a rational standard, not an irrational assumption that he's Satan's pawn only lying.

What will liberals say? Largely, 'about time we had someone competent in charge of foreign policy, thank goodness the corrupt Bush administration is out'.

Libreals aren't opposed to going after Al Queda. They're opposed to the neocon plan for Empire in the middle east and the incompetance of the Bush administration.

Obama will likely be too hawkish for some democrats, probably including me, but we don't expect to agree with him on every issue. We'll still be far better off with him than McCain.

They would defend his right to worship whom-ever when-ever, the belt would represent racial tensions in the United States and KFC is patriotic.

They will continue to blame Bush.

What do Democrats put first?

The answer you deserve: eating babies.

The more accurate answer: policies that are for the prosperity and freedom of Americans and the human race.

Democrats support the good of society, not the good of the few elites while lying to the American people to come up with 51% in elections.

Under democrats, most Americans are better off than under Republicans, in terms of freedoms and economy (check growth, unmployment, and other statistics).

The world, even moreso.

Under democrats, the most wealthy (top 0.1%) are still prosperous, but less so than under Republicans.

I'd say that the Republicans really represent very few people, and they tell big lies to most of their voters about that to get elected. They also do some 'honest' pandering.

An exmple of each: hyping how 'everyone' gets a tax cut for the average voter to hear, while actually weighting it to the most wealthy in a wealt-redistribution policy (or if you prefer hyping the benefits of the Medicare drug bill while designing it to actually raise the prices to some seniors but to add $150 billion to its big pharma donors by prohibiting the government from negotiating price); Terry Schiavo is an exmaple of the latter. Not much lying (other than Bill Frist), but pandering to their religious right dupes.

I won't say the dems are above some lies at times, but IMO their main message is accurate about their agenda.

We should note, though, that the 'corporatist' wing of the Democratic party is more prone to lies.

Can you find me a single lie among people like Henry Waxman, Robert Wexler, Dennis Kucinich, Pete Stark, Bernie Saunders? With the exception of Waxman - who is simply an outstanding and honest investigative member - they are members of the progressive side of the party which tends to be quite honest (every group has at least 'bad apples').

Eight years of republican control of the white house and six years of total republican control of the government, and all we have to show for it from them is.....lies and lame excuses over how "well" our economy is doing, more lies and excuses over how much better our lives will be if we keep de-regulating the businesses who got us into this freaking mess we're currently in, and more lies and excuses of how much "better off" we all will be if McCain and Palin wins in November.

The party that lies, misinforms, deflects and deceives us to keep control of our nation and milk it dry for the sole benefit of the very rich is asking us to trust them for another four/eight years so they can lead us into an "era of change" to get us out the mess that they themselves put us in.

Who the hell is so stupid, so chronically partisan, so delusionally misguided, so politically sadist/masochistic that they would buy into all of this blatantly obvious stinking, steaming horse shit and completely ignore what has actually transpired over the last six years of total corporate control over our government and the last two years of the repub corporatists stonewalling any meaningful legislation to right some of the wrongs that's been perpetrated against the average American?

I guess nihilism is a more common condition than i thought.

That's just a taste of what bush has done to the middle east and his feels are echoed across the area thanks to your BFF bush. instead of building our reputation in Afganistan, he squandered it in Iraq.

I'm-A-Dinner-Jacket always puts on a good show. I'd be laughing except for the fact that this nutjob might one day control nuclear explosive devices.

Bad apples are you talking about the bad apple?

For like the 8 thousandth time, Ahmadinejad does not control Iran, and would not control their nukes if they had them.

Its because of people like you I somewhat want Obama to get elected. Just to show you that he is not the answer.

Any why only America's youth will be joyfull?
