I get so tired of political figureheads saying the most washed up generic crap ever that doesn't help nor hurt a single issue.

I wish we had a governator.

I was going to post almost the same thing. The 'offensive to women' thing was a big stretch I thought, but I could sort of buy it. But in the same line they go "It was deragotory to women and gay men." First of all, you're probably a white hetero male, senator-whose-name-I-don't-remember so I'm not sure you're even qualified to make that statement...second of all, he just said girly men, not 'damn queers' or something.

I agree with you DWW, not all gays are 'girlie men' or whatever the hell they were getting at. Some are flamers, some are not. I think that was just a weak grab to try and stir up a hornets nest.
 
I am all for bringing politics back to a more physical arena. It's too easy to do the nanny-nanny-boo-boo crap and be totally wrong, but because you have clout or tenure have your way.

Also I find it amusing that whenever you mock a guy for being girlish, they automatically try to pull the 'you hate homosexuals' card....

If the subject of your post is a politician, it probably should be posted in POLITICS & News.

It already is. Sometimes those who do not wish to deal with the irrational hot headedness of P&N like to discuss political issues, especially when it's more about attitudes than politics.

I hope some weeny legislature reads this board...its time our stoopid ass legislature gets kicked out of the capital..IMHO the California legislature has been the REAL source of our state problems for soo long now.

I think Arnold is just the right man to do all the a$$-kicking.

Heh, I like our governor but I've thought the same thing. I like Arnold. He's a bit rough around the edges but I think he's actually doing a really good job in there despite not having a lot of experience in politics. He's known for being a good businessman though so I think he has the mindset thats needed.

Are you serious? That's just sad. If this issue was where to put a 9/11 memorial or abortion, then that would be something off-limits and something I would understand, but this is the same name-calling both parties do all the time with a little humor thrown in. I'm sorry your life is so dismal you can't handle comedy if it's not in a movie.
