ahhhhhhhhh, i'm sick of this commercial

Verizon Wireless, with the guy talking on the phone. He says "Can you hear me now? Good" takes a few steps(or in one case is riding in the back of a semi trialer) then says it again. I agree it is kinda annoying. One kinda good thing that came from it though was a skit on the tonight show, which involved a black and white video clip of the invention of the first phone. It has an old guy whom we will call Alex G. bell in it, and in this clip he was speaking into a very old looking phone saying " can you hear me know? Good" I got a little laugh out of it.

<< May I shoot you now?? Good! **BLAM**

me?

or the guy from Verizon.

No, can't shoot me.

The Verizon guy!

there was a soup commercial a few years back with the old lady daring her friend, "i bet you can't tell the difference between my homemade soup and this here (insert name of product) ready-made soup"...the friend says, 'sure i can tell by the smell'...she backs up a few feet, "i can still smell it"...backs up another few feet, "i can still smell it" until eventually she ends up in some meadow at the top of her lungs saying, "i can still smell it".....

i'm almost positive this is what verizon is knocking off!

Leno also did one on Yasur Arafat (no clue on spelling), with him talking on his cell phone while he was being "imprisoned" in his palace. They had footage of him talking on the phone and dubbed the " Verizon words" in an Indian accent.

LOL 😀

Verizon is suck.

I have three pagers sitting on my desk, and NONE OF THEM WORK because the stupid asses won't believe me when I call them and tell them they're tower is not working. And when I told them my friend's pager wasn't working either, there was a pause, and the lady said, "Do you want me to send me him one, too?"

Apparently you've never tried to talk to someone on a cell phone in a marginal-reception area....(or listened to someone trying it)😕

I love that commercial...it just puts ON TV what ppl who are HONEST, and will admit, that no matter WHAT service they use...they're CONSTANTLY saying that! 😉 I don't care HOW friggin' "digital" Sprint thinks they are, or how many customers Verizon or Cingular has... ppl will be saying "can U hear me now" for the rest of their lives... it may as well be like LOL, or ROTFL, or CUSA is SUCK or something! 😉

along those lines...may I propose a new Suck equality? DELL IS SUCK! 😉

[/rant] 😉

NO NO NO.

THE most annoying commercials were the P4 ones with the BLUE MAN GROUP. They're off the air now... (thank the lord).... thank the lord.

I agree! I got to a stupid rich white trash (RWT lol) school and everybody has a dell. I tried to tell a firend about getting a raid array, and he said "whoa, wait, is that the name of the Dell? Awesome!" I could have smacked him. Another bought a p4 system and I asked him how fast it was (mhz) he said "7200 rpms! And it has two geforces"
