Ahhhhhhh!! I can't decide!!!

My computer is getting a little old, it's got 512mb of pc133 RAM, and im thinking of buying another 512 MB stick, $96 from crucial.. it's up from like $80 bucks from like 2 months ago I'm a poor college student but i got my tax return back, ~$900 but i wanna spent it on stuff like clothes........Im also not working right now, but this RAM would help because im taking a lot of video editing classes........AH! i cannot decide! 96 bucks is a lot of money!!!!

Are RAM prices gonna go up or down!? it looks like they we pretty low but now they're on the rise! this sucks

and the question is: do you really need 1gb of ram?

why not just go for a 256mb stick, you save some money and gain performance

i don't play games though, expect Civilization III lol...

I do a lot of RAM intensive art, a lot of photoshop and video editing, and now i'm getting into after effects. All these programs are RAM hogs... and i dont know how long 512mb is gonna hold out

why spend any money on pc133? spend it on a DDR board.

yeah if you use photoshop a lot then get onother 512. I have a gig and its really noticable with photochop.

with games and such there is no need for a gig yet.

ram is getting cheaper , but don't buy more sdram

save the money for some ddr for a new system

Eh i could that but it seems like too much trouble. i dont wanna part with my baby until i can replace it something really really nice
