Ahhhh... Star Trek... What an Idea!

Just had a mega-movie-marathon this weekend, started with Star Trek: The Movie and followed the series to Star Trek: Insurrection. All I have to say is, I wish I was Data. Super bionic and fully *equipped* andriod body and incredible intellegence. Too bad he's green though.

Oh BTW, any word on Nemesis? It says that it should be released sometime this year, but I haven't heard any specifics yet.

Skin on Data is supposed to be slightly golden-toned if anything, but it's supposed to be very slight and subtle. Otherwise he's just supposed to be a really white guy.

<< Speaking of Data, Brent Spiner made an album of old classic songs, with the wonderful title Ol' Yellow Eyes Is Back (if you don't get that reference, you're probably too young to remember Frank Sinatra.)

Surprisingly, unlike Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner, who made stinkeroo albums a few years back, Spiner is quite good. The album is out of press, but it sometimes shows up at flea markets and garage sales (and, of course, at Trek conventions.) >>



I don't think it's fair to call them 'stinkeroo albums'. I mean, they are probably the greatest comedy albums I have ever heard.
