So I finally pulled the trigger on my new BenQ monitor, and my new set of Z-5500s this past Saturday.

But low and behold today I check their website and the price on the speakerws dropped 15 bucks! Ok, I know 15 dollars isnt much at all but for the love of all things right and good in this world, WHY DID THE PRICE HAVE TO DROP SO SOON AFTER I BOUGHT THEM!

arrgggg! They are out of stock for MONTHS, I bought them and days later they drop in price.

Frustrating, but what can ya do.... cept vent on Anandtech! lol

Anyone else have this type of thing happen on the egg?

yeah go figure. Im honestly just frazzled a bit that no stock for months, then they come in staock, I get them and two days later they go down in price. I guess I just have really bad timing.

Um...
You know you can call them up and ask for a price adjustment right?...
They will credit you for the difference if you bought it last week. I think they've done two weeks too...

This happens often, though.

Probably the main reason I wait for something to go on sale/drop in price before buying. I generally buy open box stuff if it's acceptable (ie: not video card/processor).

I built an AMD X2 system for a buddy of mine in early July 2006 (against my advice he refused to wait) & as a result he ended up buying his CPU about 1.5 weeks before the big price cut ... paid almost twice what he would have for his 4600+ as a result.
