Hmm I think this is the forum I got this from so maybe you guys can help. A few weeks ago I was browsing the threads when I ran accross one about blocking ads, it mentioned how adding urls to a file in one of your directories would exclude them from being shown on my web browser. Well I went a little crazy and installed one of the huge list's with thousands of urls. Anyway now many sites just look wrong and I need to be able to see some ads (for my website).

So I guess my problem is I forgot what and where that file is 😱 so that I can trim it down a tad. Thanks.

Someone who wants ads? Hmm...anyway, it's the HOSTS file located in X:\Windows(or WINNT)\system32\drivers\etc

May the ads bring you peace again.
