Ahhhh, damnit, finished building my computer but now when it booys, it freezes at "Verifying DMI Pool Data......" and stops there. Mobo is an Abit AV8. Someone help fast!!! Please

o wait, lol, i got it to boot XP from the disk, but which SATA driver should I use? Silicon Image or the VIA one? Motherboard is Abit Av8.

read somewhere else its the VIA, it found my drive, but it wont install, it can fromat my raptor for some reason,

errr hello???? what the problem is? has anyone had problems with their abit av8 and raptor?Im using the VIA SATA driver off the floppy and it cant properly recognize the drive, then I get a BSOD

the WD diagnostic tool cant even detect my drive wtf. so its not windows, its the mobo or druve itself i guess. cmon guys help plz. the jumper i left as it came, on 1 and 2.

ok, connection was loose, got it recognized, but test ggives error 0101 on the drive. anyone?

someone pppplzzzz it detects my HD incorrectly as well. Detects is as an 80GB EIDE hard drive accroding to the WD diagnostic utility. windows xp install doesnt even detect it.

WINDOWS NOR MY BIOS CAN DETECT MY DRIVE
