it is a heat wave. considering its been 0F with -20windchill. so yeah a 30 degree diffrence (60 if you count windchill) is a heat wave.

the last few weeks it has been ZERO with -25 windchill. i would call it a heatwave when it is 28F!

I'll tell ya what really ticks me off. It's when Old Man Winter can't make up his damn mind about how cold he wants it. Overnight lows have been in the 20's (avg 26) but the highs for the day are in the low 60's (today is 62). WTF??

I know what you mean. One day I'm wearing my heavy wool coat, and the next day i'm in short sleeves and shorts. These weather fluctuations tend to be hell on my sinuses as well for some reason.

Well, then I apologize for my earlier sarcastic commentary. I thought this was just going to be another global warming troll thread. 30F here, with a noreaster on the way apparently. It's been cold since mid-Jan. (20-30 F avg) but before that we were looking at 50's F on average since winter officially began. Crazy.
