AHH!!! Why is it taking Dell four days to even get me a shipping number?!

Welcome to Dell's Award Winning Customer Service. It took them about a month to ship my friend's PC and she got shipping number two days after it was ship.

had the same problem. They lost our monitor order 3 times and so we had to tell them to forget it and cancel the order.

I have confirmation and shipping emails... but no tracking number or way to tell when it's going to arrive.

Could it be that customer service is in India I think and the company is in TX. ?

Hmm, I guess I've had good luck with Dell in terms of shipping. Numerous laptops and desktops all shipped early if anything. Now, gettting service after the sale may be another thing all together.

I'm starting to get irritated. How come Newegg, Mwave, and a million other online retailers can keep you updated and have good service... but a huge corporation such as Dell has crap service.

Uh.... should nt you just go to the support site, enter your order no. and get the tracking details?

It would be easier than getting frustrated...

It just says something such as "in transit to local carrier".

hmmm...I ordered my 2001FP on Sunday. I received it today..shipped free too.

I dont know if anyone else noticed this but from my experience and others trying to get monitors and computers from dell. It seems like they have problems shiping out monitors and the like but if you buy a whole system from them then you get it in time and with a tracking number like you are suposed too and beter service. It almost sounds like just mayby they dont care because you arent spending as much just buying a monitor from them and they want you to get a whole system.
