Ahh sweet beautiful coffee...

I started when i was 12, relied heavily on it in college during all those all nighters, and now i drink aound 3-4 cups a day, im a health nut sort of and i knows it bad for me but im addicted to the caffiene and it puts me in a better mood 😛

plus it its drank at the right time it can help with running...

i grind my own now a days and buy the beans in bulk, i hate that expensive teenybopper stale starbucks shit

Ah I drink a cup or two a day. Any more than that and it just makes me even more tired.

Oh I used to drink it before I worked out too...but I find that it just tires you out even quicker as it makes your muscles run out of oxygen.

4 at least.
its bad for me, i know it...and i dont care..
life without coffee just isnt worth living anyways.

I have a cappuccino just about every morning. This morning it was from freshly-roasted (as in two days ago) Yemeni Mokha Matari, Sulawesi Toraja, and Sumatran Mandheling.

Yah, I'm geeky enough to take a picture of my cappuccino. Another view. That's not easy to do.
Another
What it takes....

Good stuff! 😀

[edit]Oh, forgot to say that I generally have about 6 shots of espresso a day, and sometimes 2 to 4 of those are in a capuccino; otherwise, I drink it straight as an espresso. I often drink what's called a triple ristretto.[/edit]

I don't drink a lot of coffee anymore. Every once in a while I get the craving but I don't have a coffee maker. Last week when I was stuck in the hospital they brought me my all liquid tray of food which included a cup of coffee. I was suffering from a massive caffeine headache so I decided to drink it. Nastiest, vile, grainy cup of joe I had ever had.

Hate to tell you man, but if you're buying in bulk you likely already have stale coffee. How much do you buy, and for how long do you keep it around?

There's no substitute for truly fresh coffee, and that usually means little more than a week after its roast date. I can go through about a pound or so in a week, so I roast every weekend.

Loose leaf or bag? Infused for how long? At what temperature? What pot do you use? 🙂

I love teas.

Bag, bleached I think, infused for just about 3 minutes, maybe 4. I use a 4-cup coffee machine to heat the water for me in the mornings and then when I wake up, I drop a tea bag in it and let it steep for 3-4 minutes while I brush my teeth. The coffee maker is virgin, it's never brewed a cup of coffee and it never will!

..I grind my own beans and thismorning I'am having Yemen Mocha Extra Dark. Intoxicating blast with a flavour of semi sweet chocolate..black. No cream/sugar. I brew a 12 cup pot then pour it into a thermos and drink it all thru the day.

I buy in bulk directly from the supplier to the local coffee shop near my place, after opening i keep in an air sealed container....ahte to tell you man but i know what fresh coffee is...

anyone ever heard of excreted coffee beans or somehing, theyre like 40 bucks a pound??? it better cure diseases for that price..

I dont think it does to much to wake me up. Doesnt matter I only drink it on the weekends for breakfast

I dont really enjoy drinking cause Im constantly thinking about what its doing to my teeth color 😛

Again, you've not told me the roast date. Keeping it in an air-sealed container isn't sufficient, and if you're buying in bulk you're likely not drinking it all within the span or a week or so, so you are most definitely drinking stale coffee.

And yes, you're talking about the coffee from the Kopi Luwak.

Usually espresso here, sometimes press. I roast my own and generally work on doing my own blends. It's best around less than a week after roasting, and generally letting it rest 1-3 days is necessary before using it.

I typically have two cups a day. I'm a bit of a coffee snob and cannot drink Folger's, Maxwell House, etc. I prefer to buy my own whole bean and grind it myself. Coffee is loaded with antioxidants. It's not that un-healthy of a drink. The caffeine may be bad, but anything in excess is bad.
