Ahh...my gaming and upgrading days are slipping away

The amusing part about the whole thing is that once everything that could be done is done, there won't be much else left to do but game, tehehe. That should be everyone's goal in life, finish everything so we can all have lots of time to game in the end.

been dinged too many times by shoddy stories in games, and horrible endings, not really worth playing through many games. i just got bored after an hour or two, it wasn't worth sticking it out cuz theres no point if its not fun.
 
I still game quit a bit, but cant play the new stuff because my PC is so old.

If I would stop buyin all these damned guns and stuff I could upgrade pretty quickly. Grabbed a Sig P228 end of December, ran out last night and grabbed 3 Surefire lights (2 9P's, 1 E2E). Grabbed a digi reloading scale beginning of this month.....

Ugh. I spend too much on guns n stuff.
 
Intersting... I always found the time to play my video games, go out and party, and work 30 hours a week, while taking a full course load @ college...

Granted I really never studied or did homework. I really just remember crammng multiple nights b4 a test... and skimming by... I ended up with a 3.3 in comp engineering, not the greatest but I am happy...

Now that I have graduated and am employed full time... I still do the same thing... I find time to play my games... usually now from 10p-12p but i make sure I can still go out party @ bars and clubs, also I find time to study for the my LSAT test in june.

i guess what i am aiming at is that you can always find time if you can adjust your scheud and make room for it...

btw... i am 25.
 
I stopped using computers almost entirely in my partying days, gaming especially was left well alone, but I'm back into it now. I'm 24.
 
Meh. My wife is 24, and I'm 26, and I'm in the process of building a new gaming machine so that me and my wife can play Guild Wars. We played together for a while, but I had to take down my last machine I was using (too big, hot, and loud).

I'm 30 and still game but mostly in the winter when it gets plenty cold in NYC. I play games on the Xbox 360 since I can play with my brother, cousins and friends who live far away. Its fun and it beats spending money on long distance as we all get to talk together while playing some games (Xbox Live is just fantastic). During the summer however I barely play anything as I usually go play baseball, tennis and go bike riding a ton which is perfect anyways since nothing comes out worth a damn gaming wise that time of year.

 
I used to have "rule" where I would go through an upgrade cycle every 18 months. Well, the rule has changed. Computer speeds have outpaced software development, and I don't game as much. My FOUR year old Athlon XP 2500+ wiht 1gb of ram and Radeon 9800 pro is still doing just fine!

I'm old, have 2 kids, am an attorney and still get on my computers or x360 a few times a week.

I'm 27, have a great social/work life, a girlfriend I wouldn't trade for the world, and still make time for games. A few friends of mine give me sh*t about it being immature, but these same people do stuff like watch reality TV, enjoy chick flicks, and have crushes on Matt Lauer.
 
Games and the Internet > TV

I am nowhere close to a hard-core gamer (only play Triple-A-Certified single-player FPSs, get owned in multi-player etc.) For the casual fix, I stick to Need for Speed and the latest FIFA. Occasionally, a game comes out that borderline consumes my life (Rome: Total War...good times).

This is something I want to do (and see myself doing) for the rest of my life. And I'm 21.

My Dad hasn't played a game since the Atari 2600 days. But he enjoys sitting down and watching me play something like FEAR, HL2 or NFS:MW and saying, "Wow, this must take a lot of talent/skill to program/design something like that."
