i tried to overclock my Logitech Cordless Mouseman from 80Hz to 100Hz, and everything was cool until last night. all of a sudden it doesnt work. maybe it drained the batteries...or maybe it broke it....? any ideas??
Actually, I don't think you overclocked it at all. Isn't that just the PS/2 port speed refresh rate. AFAIK, it doesn't do any harm to the mouse (mine's running at 100 from 40! :Q)
Just out of curiosity, how do you overclock your Logitech? I have logitech also and want to know how to do it. This is the first time I hear mouse overclock. Thanks
PS/2Rate, yeh I never heard of it killing a mouse, but I can see it taking up more proc. time. (hehe, put it in realtime refresh) Just get a friggin USB mouse.
My MS optical has been running fine for 6 months at 200hz
"overclocking" the mouse from windows deafault of 40hz to 200hz helped ALOT with smoothness and gave me quite a bump in Frags per hour 🙂
