get in the shower and tilt your head the the water runs down side of your head into your eye.

Water dont help...blink 2ce and it hurts more... wheres a toweel or something...
 
well yes, you're essentially cooking your eyes. Try it with shrimp sometime, you can put them in lemon juice and all the protein gets denatured. There is a Spanish dish where they do that, but I forget the name

lemon juice = acid

acid =!= heat
