yeah, this the kind of crud that, when in middle school-was "cool" through the veil of irony.

You tend to drag these things out too far, though, take it far too seriously, and completely forget that the entire point was irony, and when all is said and done--you no longer have any idea why you have piles of toys meant for 5 year-old girls and a disturbingly creepy browser history..

MLP:FiM is not mediocre crap that's being watched to be "different." It's not some hipster club that's going to lose its cool when it goes mainstream. It IS mainstream. VERY. It just has the speedbumps to entry of the historical experiences of, "anything aimed at kids is shit," and, "anything aimed at girls is utter shit."
Anyone who has enough brains to know that the past occurrences do not prove future ones and can put the history of bad shows behind them and actually watches the show will see that the show is actually good. Good characters. Good interactions. Good stories.
It isn't condescending. It isn't girly. It is simply entertaining.
And if you frequent any image boards, you're gonna find it impossible to not take screenshots. Reaction images everywhere!

My favorite is Fluttershy. She's the prettiest. I used to have a toy pony of her when I was little, but that was before this new version of My Little Pony. 😀
 
Wow, this has gotten bad.

Someone today was looking for an alternate carrier to UPS, and someone else suggested Pony Express.

My immediate and first thought was "Rainbow Dash."😀



Also....wow.
In "Bridle Gossip", when Fluttershy's voice got changed a wee bit, her voice was done by Blu Mankuma. One of his other noteworthy roles: Gigabyte, from the show Reboot.


"I am become Fluttershy, destroyer of systems!"
