I wonder if Hasbro will losen up a little for the second season. From what I heard, Lauren Faust wanted to have a semblance of a continuing story line, but Hasbro disagreed. I think something about keeping the target audience (lil kids who will buy the toys) in mind, trying to keep it relatively simple.

Hrm, I know the videos have a large periphery demographic. I wonder if the same applies to the merchandise. I don't see myself buying MLP figures, but I would seriously consider a shirt.

I wonder if it's something along the lines of what happened with Reboot then.
Apparently it was an action/adventure show where the censors at ABC repeatedly attempted to eliminate any traces of action or adventure, at least in the early episodes.
More on that here. Censors seem to be a group of people with some twisted views, who have nothing better to do than attempt to conform the world to match those views.

For those looking to check out the Equestria Girls Extended video officially on the hub, the guys over at marketing department sent me this tiny clarification. I think a few people were confused about exactly when the promo would display!
The full music video will premiere on The Hub during the first commercial break of the Garfield movie at 5pm ET. It will run on our air in regular rotation from that point forward. We will be playing two back to back episodes of MLP on Saturday 5/28 as part of our Summer Preview, and double episodes of Pony on Saturday mornings all summer long! We hope all our fast-fine-fierce "pony-fabulous" friends tune in!​

I'm not into this but I have nothing against watching kiddy cartoons. I love Spongebob Square Pants for example and can still easily watch old 80s and 90s cartoons from my childhood with joy. Which reminds me I've been looking to download all seasons of Duck Tales.

also true 🙂 But I made the designs from scratch, it isn't like you can get MLP embroidery designs. They take up to 10 hours to make the design, and up to an hour for my machine to do. My Derpy design has like 30,000 stitches.

Both sets of colors for Celestia's mane are accurate depending on where in the character's mane I try to match the colors to. I think the 2nd one looks better.
