My mom just asked me to rewind a DVD for her so that she can take take it back to Blockbuster. What, exactly, can you say to that besides simply shaking your head and explaining to her that DVDs don't need to be rewound?

I told her that DVDs are optical disks that don't need to be rewound, I just thought it was funny.

About a year ago, I posted because the girl at blockbuster tried to charge me for not rewinding a DVD. THEY should know better...

Kinda the same...
A few years ago I had a rented tape break in my VCR. I worked it out, but not wanting to pay some inflated price ($80!) for the tape, I took it apart and spliced it together using scotch tape.
My ex-wife, "Can't they just pause it and get your fingerprint?" 😀
