Well, tha audiance got to where they went so often, they'd memorize the script and chant out the words to certain lines, or ad-lib.
The one scene where Frank-N-Furter was showing off his dead mother, is an example. The audiance shouted "show us your mother, asshole".

Anyway, they'd do things like that, as well as squirt water pistols, throw wet noodles, etc. 🙂

They do that all over the place. It's best when there is a stage and the actors are right in front of the screen. Everyone in the audience dresses up too. I've driven by on nights when they were having shows like this. I always wanted to go to one but haven't yet. I should definitely do that next year.

I have seen it in the theater over 100 times. It just isn't the same on TV, even if you have the DVD.

I've seen it once at the theater and it was a lot of fun although I couldn't see going through that more than once. 😛

You should check it out at least once... I recommend sitting near the back and dressing in clothes you don't mind getting wet as some people get quite carried away with the "ritual" of the movie. :laugh:
