You can borrow some of my mass, if you'd like.

And, no, I'm not hitting on you.

Wow.

it seems Anandtech has a very high concentration of benchers that can rival the USAPL state records.I mean I work out with the record holders for 165 and 181 lb weight classes and none of them can bench anywhere near 275x10, hell both records are right around 400. Who would've thought it?

Edit: just verified that the 165 lb record is 345....181/198 is both ~400.

So yes, you might want to consider it.

I also quit drinking pop (soda) ((mt. dew)) about 3 & 1/2 weeks ago...
That's a good first step. Giving up soda alone will allow you to drop 10 Lbs. alone within the first two months. Keep up the good work and the continued work-outs.

Wrong Weight Class.... 4 Me

I weighed 225-230 when I was benching the weights quoted above. I truly admire guys who stay lean but are Super Strong... I was not very lean ... unless you count Double Whoppers with Cheese as a lean diet :D

Very nice. I went on a healthy kick a little while ago, and while I'm not going as strong as I was, I still try to eat healthy and get some exercise during winter. During the summer it won't be nearly as bad.. congrats to ya Paulson!

No surprise that my team also has the 242 LB weight class record holder....he can do about ~450.
Not to mention he holds every single record for his weight class - squat, bench, dl, and combined.

Keep at it. A lot of people have a breaking point. That point is reached when they look at themselves one day and finally realize that it's just got to change. No more "I should go on a diet", it's instead "God I hate myself. I'm fixing this now." Sounds like perhaps you reached that point - keep at it and you'll feel better and better!

BTW soda drinkers, diet soda is your friend. It tastes a lot better than water. I personally drink at least three cans of diet soda a day - I mean POP, but I also suck back a ton of water on top of that. If I'm hungry I just sit there sipping water.

Its good that your doing this but its doesnt make a lot of sense to quit drinking soda since Coca-Cola Light is something 1.6 calorie per 100ml. You should quit eating quick food and all of that kind of stuff and reward yourself with Light soda.
