what more do you need than track info?

Well nothing if all you're doing is trying to d/l a full album. But I liked to know songwriting credits, production credits, it also told you the exact release dates, who played on the album, it usu. had a CMJ review, you could search by label, title, artist, it was easy to locate a song off a compilation or whatever. Plus a lot of other things I can't even remember right now, but I used it a ton.

allmusic.com is still pretty good, but I'm still going to miss the cdnow format though.

But what site has sound bites so you can check to see if it's a song you'd like? I sometimes hear a bit of a song on the radio and catch the song title or maybe just the artist name and I used to use CDNow's sound bites to figure out which one it was.

Ah.... Barnes and Noble's site does (at least for some of the tracks).
