Yep, the big L.
I actually wanted to say that AT is largely responsible for where I am today. I started posting on AT about computer stuff and ended up frequenting the Notebook section a lot, with what was at the time a fair amount of notebook knowledge and what was recognized as a reasonable ability to communicate.
A fellow PMed me and offered me an opportunity to work on a new web site he had put together. I joined the LaptopLogic team in February of 2005, thanks to the presence of the AT Notebook forum. With over 15 months on the team, we've gone from unrecognized and lowly trafficed to having connections with near every major company in the industry, surprising amounts of recognition around the web, and content that most people agree is top notch. If the experience I gained with helping this site grow to where it is wasn't enough, my industry contacts may very well end up earning me a full-time job now that I'm graduating; and a full time job that I will actually enjoy & appreciate.
I've met some people from ATOT who have helped me along the way, personally and professionally. There's only a few of you, but you know who you are. Thanks and you all are entitled to a :beer: from me. The rest of you, thanks for the entertainment.
In conclusion, AT helped get me to where I am today and my life would be rather different had I not signed up here back on 04/17/2004, quite literally in fact and probably different in a negative way.
:beer::thumbsup:😀
