Try holding down a job first. You've been through three jobs because you "didn't like them". Well, If I were parents, I would say tough sh!t until you actually had a job, whether you liked it or not, for a significant amount of time and, even then, I wouldn't drop $1000 on my son's birthday..

Christ, I'm lucky to get $80 worth of stuff for my birthday, and you're complaining because your parents won't spend a grand on you? Wow.

Come on, guys... he came here asking for help and all you do is tell him what a whiny twerp he is. I think he should tell his parents that he deserves thi system, and that if he doesn't get it, they will be really sorry.

Then, when he wakes up, he needs to stop being a whiny little twerp, get a job to earn the money, and then go buy his own components... and maybe even his own car.

Why won't your parents let you put a system in your car? I bought one for my truck and put it in when I was 16 or 17. Of course the car was mine and I paid for the stuff, minus the deck which was a gift.
