i just bought a gf2 [asus7700] on my old bh6-rev1.0 with a celeron633@950 on it. it was really unstable and i heared that setting agp to 1x instead of 2x helped... so i set it to 1x... its stable now...

the only thing is..... will it hurt my performance... my 3dmark want from 5300 to 5000-5100... but in real world? will i have a bigger or smaller performance impact?

this 2-3% difference is something i dont really care about... but when it gets around 10 i start thinking...

another question.... should i trade in the vid-card or do you think the problem is in my BX chip?

I am in a similar situation as you

I have a GF2 and an Abit BF6. When running at default FSB (100mhz AGP 2X) I only get 1fps more in Q3 (1024x760 HQ) than when I run at 100mhz AGP 1X.
But when I run at FSB 133 and AGP 1X I actually gain 7-8fps in the same settings.
