What would happen if my agp slot was bad. Could my graphics card still function normally at times? My computer hangs when i play cs and i get a black screen for a min and my computer reboots. Could this be a bad agp sloT?

is it only when you are playing games or dose it happen at other times also?

I'd be more inclined to believe this is a simply driver/config problem or a PSU problem. Update your GPU drivers, chipset drivers and BIOS and don't overclock anything.
