AGP Vid recommendation - HTPC - (9500 pro?)

Hey hey,

Started gathering some of my old server parts together to try out an HTPC,but stuck with AGP only for now to see how it's gonna work out.

not looking for the greatest or most expensive here, just something that will give me good DVD playback to a 32"-40" LCD tv. (no blu-ray, or Gaming will be done)
Just movies,music,pictures,internet.

I actually have a 9500 Pro in the server, but was checking for others since it's not passive,or low profile. (which i may need)

720p and 1080 videos play great on this card with the barton system, although i can't test the tv quality with it yet.would this card suffice for an HTPC?

So any recommendations you may have, i'm game.($50 and under - used works for me as well)

(Had these in mind)

FX5200 (Hate them, but cheap and some say they work fine for HTPC)
HD2400/2600
x1600 Cards
Nvidia 6200

Decided to just rebuild with a board that has PCIe.AGP is way to pricey right now.plus the upgraded board/cpu can only help in the long run. 🙂 - Thanks guys

Thanks.

Pick up a 2400 card for cheap so you will have 1080p h.264 decode. As it is, I highly doubt you can decode it with a barton.
