I have an asus a78nx-E delux and whenever I keep changing graphics cards the AGP Pro tab comes out. I can never seem to get it back in right so it works. I just have to send the motherboard back and get a new one. Is there anyway around this?

Nobody knows whats wrong? Its a little plastic tab with a sticker going over it that goes in the AGP slot that when you remove it it turns into agp pro and wont even post without an AGP pro card (which I dont have).

It doesn't "turn" into AGP pro - there is no functional difference; AGP pro just has extra power pins for cards that need more juice. (This is the serious approach, gamer's cards have resorted to that silly "plug a power wire into the card" workaround).

The tab just is a mechanical blocker so you insert the normal AGP card into the exact right spot. Else you'd be able to offset the card - which is why the machine then doesn't boot.

Oh, OK, thanks but do you know if there is a way so I can put it back in there right or put the card in there right? It looks likes its in there fine.
