Hi, I have an Epox 8KHA+ KT266A motherboard, and was wondering how far I can safely push my FSB, since I believe it's locked at 1/4 divider and there is no option for a 1/5 divider (someone correct me if I am wrong). Should I upgrade to a KT333 motherboard? Does the Epox 8K5A2 or 8K3A motherboard have a 1/5 divider?

some people have pushed the 8kha+ to 200 fsb and further......some have only slightly passed stock speeds......it all depends on your system and components..........it (8kha+)was only rumored to have dividers but turned out to be false......... most of the newer epox boards if im not mistaken have the divider switch....8k3a for sure.. take a look at amdmb.com in the epox forum section....

that is the million dollar question........that is why some people swear there is a divider.....alot of people have run above 166 and toward 200 fsb without any problems....i am not one of them .....the 8kha+ is not my main board so i cant play with it....(my wife's)...... ....

latency is a big factor i think ........along with your mem/cpu/heat/hard drives/...ect....

my 8kha+ runs fine at 166 fsb. can't seem to get the system stable over 168fsb. boots into windows but crashes if I run prime or 3dmark.
