Once I had put a 4X AGP card (Geforce 2 MX) in a 2X motherboard, and it stopped working (as in the display wouldnt come even in a 4X motherboard after the incident)...........Is there any to repair the card? (the warranty has gone)

Most likely it was something else that killed it. Running at 4x card in a 2x motherboard shouldn't be a problem. If the warranty has expired you can probably still send it back to the manufacturer for service, but since it's a GeForce2MX, it just wouldn't be worth it in my opinion. The cost to repair it would probably end up being more than the card is worth.

if you play games get a new card, it's probly too old to RMA, but you should try to do that first, if you can get it working again then you can sell it and put the price towards your new card
