Can someone that knows for sure tell me if the AGP Bus increases speed when overclocked if you already have the Core/Ram Max'd out?

posted in video cards and all they said was "overclocking decreases lifespan"


BTW I got extra cooling

No, running the AGP bus higher than the default of 67Mhz does not increase video performance at all. Current video cards can handle the increased AGP bus speed but you don't gain anything.

I had a GF2 that ran on a AGP with a speed of 89Mhz because my BX board didn't have a 1/2 AGP divider. 🙂
