agp being overvolted to 1.95

for some reason, my mobo seems to be overvolting the agp a lot. it isnt exactly a good card (gf4mx440) but i still dont want it to die. anyone know whether this will kill it?

what mobo are you using?

1.95 is waaay to high

1.5V is default, that will hurt it (if not now, in the future)

its an old epox 8k7a+. it could be that the voltage monitoring is just dying, i know that it claims 5v is at 4.58 when a multimeter claims 5.00, so it might just be that. according to the software that came with the card, it is staying nice and cool, but still... any idea how long it will take to die if it stays at <40c?
edit: as long as it is overvolted and it stays cool, should i clock it up as high as it can go?

1.9 VAGP?!?!?!? that will kill is sooner than later. This has nothing to do with how much voltage is given to the GPU or RAM all it really does is help the card maintain stability when the AGP frequency is out of wack. So if you were OCing the FSB and didn't have AGP or PCI lock then it would help but no its not going to help u OC higher.

well i dont have any way to adjust the vagp, all i have is something monitoring it. any suggestion on what to do to lower the voltage or keep the card from dying?

no idea, sorry. But you are of course right it may not be giving it that much voltage at all. I mean how many boards actually give reliable readings ??? barely any.
