I agree, they seem to be coming down. i've been looking these cards pretty closely, because I don't want to upgrade until conroe comes out then I'll get a hi end pci card.
I've been rying to figure out if they are getting ready to release a 7900GS version or what. I mean something is driving the prices down, and with the shortages of chips that I've been reading about. I don't quiet understand why they are coming down,. I'm not going to argue, but I would like to find out the sweet spot timingwise to buy one of these babies.
 
I doubt youll get a faulty evga card, its supposed to be one of the more reliable companies. Just in case, It has the lifetime warranty if anything does go wrong.
 
hmm...yeah they are coming down fast.

I was thinking of going for a 6800gs because they're cheaper, but getting impossible to find.

My magic number is $200...how long you think it will take to get to that price? A few more months?

These will probably end up being rare too.
 
The question is will it still be available long enough for the price to drop to $200?
