Hi guys,

I've just gotten a Asus A7v (Rev 1.02) and everything is cool. There's one problem though. I can't seem to enable the fast write in the bios after I update the AGP drivers to the latest included in the 4in24via driver pack. I'm using a Creative Geforce2 GTS. Besides that, I can't enable AGP4x too. I'm using the powerstrip (One of the latest version) and the option on the agp4x is not even on. Before installing the new drivers, the option was available but could not enable it. I've changed everything in the bios already and am running out of ideas. Anybody??

THankx guyz!

I'd be interested to see if anyone can get this to work, i've got a clabs gts 2 as well, and getting the computer to run without hanging i've had to set it to Normal (instead of optimal) in the bios. But powerstrip won't let me select 4x agp, only 2x.

Any help here would be appreciated

Have you tried the 6.26 reference drivers from Nvidia. I found that my system was a lot more stable after using these new drivers. Before that my system would be unstable even if I set my system to "normal" and it would hang with Internet Explorer. My system hasn't locked up since I installed the new drivers. I cant remember if I updated the setting to optimal since using the new drivers. I will check later and update it! ;)

But it doesn't really matter if you run in AGP4x mode. I think the difference should be minimal.

Do not use the Optimal setting in the Bios!!! My computer wouldn't even boot with this setting! ;)
