Ok this is really important its for my personal buisness use and I have alot of numbers just in the phone that I need. I have insurance on the phone but I dont want to lose these numbers and they just replace the whole phone.. and I need this asap not 2 + weeks... I saw a site linked on either OT or Hot Deals about this place that sold aftermarket lcd screens really cheap, and I need one asap and as cheap as possible. My deductable is like 40$ so I would rather just replace the lcd too.

I will give a cookie if anyone can help me its the Nokia 5165 and I just need the lcd screen I dropped it and it just shattered now when you turn it on nothing of course ... grr this makes me mad.

HELP!

This happened to my Nokia 6190 (my fault, it was on my belt clip and I hit the cell phone against a counter accidentally). Fortunately I was able to retrieve all my phone numbers and settings since I'm a VoiceStream Wireless customer and they use SIM cards which store ALL your info.

The phone was covered under a 1 year warranty, got a replacement one FedEx'd to me in 3 days only cost shipping around $15 put the old SIM card into new phone and it worked!

Unfortunately this phone is out of the factory warranty and I pay 5$ a month just incase I lose it or something or break it but I have a deductable that is like 40.. I dropped my phone just the right way on the pavement.... ack..

The ebay one is good but I was hoping for cheaper (me=optimistic) and not purple 😉 I found one for 18.99 at cellphoneshop.net , hoping for cheaper because im gonna pay for 2 day shipping I need this back asap.

Can I get a consolation cookie?

That sucks, sorry to hear...

Thats the main reason i love GSM though. All your phone info (including phone #'s and everything else) is stored on a sim card which can be transferred from phone to phone just by popping in the card into the other phone. I have 2 cell phones i use right now depending on my mood and the amount of charge they have.

Might be something you wanna look into in the future...
