Whenever my cat acts up she gets a blast or two with this the air really doesnt hit her that much but the noise freaks her out. Now all I have to do is show her the can and she knows she better shape up.

I use canned air to dust off records, and I've inadvertently conditioned my cat to flee the room whenever I pick up an LP.

declawing is actually an amputation of the last digit. It affects the cats overall psychology since it can no longer protect itself or hunt if needed. It is also extremely painful for a cat, which you may argue that your cat didnt show signs of pain, but cats are one of the most bull headed animals. They will not show pain unless they are on their death bed.

Lots of Europe have made it illegal and I know many vets that refuse to do it. This isn't the answer. If you dont like a cat with claws, then you dont deserve to have a cat.

How come people have had declawed cats for so long and it wasn't an issue until now?

Laser fixes the pain and amputation part, from what my vet told me when he did it to my cats is they just burn out the nail beds. My cats were romping the day of the surgery so it didnt affect them much.

It's always been an issue. With the internet it brings that issue into the homes of the masses that just want a cause to bitch about.
