is there anyway to get this camera to transfer under win 95? i know it says win 98 on the box... but just asking cause i know there are some configuring geniuses in here

You would probably need the USB supplement, to make your Win95 OSR2 with USB support. Check Microsoft's web ppage. You might need to buy it.
