I just snagged one at my local B&M.

I was surprised they actually had 2.

Not bad for $18.44 after rebates (tax included)

Now I wont care if it gets lost hiking/camping.

Nice camera but it doesn't work in cold temperatures I took it hiking last week and the flash wouldn't work and the camera was shutting down because of the cold... so keep the camera warm for best results

UPDATE:

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, i picked one up yesterday. I played around with it and took ~50 test pics in various settings. I have yet to see how this camera is worth even the $15 net price that I got it for!

IMHO, picture quality of this camera is terrible!
Before you yell at me, yes.. I do know that it's a <1 megapixel, low-end model. But I was planning on using it strictly for website and email pics, but the pics it produces aren't even good enough for that!

Of course, this is just my $.02, you are free to disagree. Just wanted to comment on it so those who missed out on the deal don't feel so bad.

I will sell mine for $100.... J/K .. It's going back to OD this afternoon!

I agree, the pics arent the best. But after some touchup, they arent bad either.

I have several photo editors, so editing isnt a problem.

This camera fits the bill (at $18.44) so I dont have to worry about my $800 mavica getting busted hiking/camping/ect.

The pics do need some work, but if someone has NO way to get digital pics to their PC, this little camera will do the job. For a jackson, you get a digital camera, that also doubles for a web cam. And the USB transer is MUCH faster then other &quot;cheap&quot; cameras with a serial connection.

The TWAIN driver is SUPER easy to use, anyone can figure it out.
