I was real hopeful given Joss' involvement but I just can't bring myself to care about the characters. Too much pseudo pscience, I dunno. I didn't like Doll House either, maybe I'm just waiting on Firefly to return.

I was surprised to see the cameo at the end of Tuesday's episode. I noticed in a few advertisements, the had a shield and a hammer. I bet we see a few more people pop in from time to time.

I think an interesting villain or a compelling storyline might help more.

It's the second episode. A lot of series don't get good until the 2nd or 3rd season. Calm yourself.

I can imagine you guys if Star Trek TNG were release today...

good episode. so far its starting slow but building.

lol liked having fury in it. that was neat.

😵 I'm confused as to why I need to "calm myself" when I'm simply mentioning what I think could make the show more interesting to watch. Keep in mind that I've actually been a bigger proponent of episodic content in the past. For example, I liked Fringe's scientific anomaly of the week schtick that they had going on. I just haven't been that into the first two episodes, and it makes me think that a good, compelling villain could really draw me in.

TNG was bad at first, I blame Wesley Crusher. What they had from the get go, as mentioned in the post you're quoting, was Queue who gave hope for the series.

Half way through second episode so far.

Show is kinda not great. Geeks will love a lot of things but so far I cannot see the average person caring a great deal.

The guy who runs the team of children just seems like a nanny to me. The 24 year old scientists and other chick are way too young to be taken seriously, and they were desperately going for the young vibe with those actor selections.

The pilot is so flat as to be ridiculous. The captain in Brooklyn 99, as a comparison, is stoic as hell but from time to time you catch a grin and a glint of personality, so it works. This woman is just silly.

Also, the show needs to stop so desperately referring to the battle of New York or stark or anything else it can to say "look, this show is about super heros and the real marvel ones at that!".

Realized I forgot to watch the second episode on demand last week, didn't really bother me, so I think I'm done with this show. Good luck to it.

You didn't miss anything. If this show didn't have Marvel in the name, it'd be on the brink of cancellation I think.

I missed the second half of last night's episode to to a power outage. Apparently it's not available on demand via Dish Network. 🙁

I have stated I absolutely hate Ming Na.

Ok, I like her in this show. Probably because she keeps her mouth shut most of the time and just goes bad ass when needed.

One thing that bugged me about the show. Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention, but how did Coulson
know that dropping the doctor into the symbiote-like gravity thinger would serve as this "catalyst" that they needed to stop it?
I don't recall anything in the story to support that.

It's new if he was just made. 😛

Alright, I can give you that one. 😛

To be fair I was never a fan of the avenger style comic book side and the only time I saw stuff about graviton was the cartoon they had in one episode.
