If anything that drove me off as that was the weak part in iron man 3 for me.

Lets see some normal super powered people / weapons in the show as so far it's just normal people we have seen and if the team is full of nothing but just highly trained people as we saw it's going to be boring.

Sure avengers really only had one superhero as we call them, hulk, as thor is normal for his race and captain america is because of a potion and that's fine to have similar things here.

But the problem is there is nothing new as so far we have what looks like a clone of black widow and hawkeye but with a gun and two scientists and some hacker chick so they need something actually special.

I have not seen IM3 yet so I don't know how Extremis was in that. I liked the comic story though. I agree the show needs more. I will give it at least 3-5 episodes to see where it goes.

Unfortunately, Iron Man 3 was this weird sort of take on the Extremis arc.

I'm not sure why you're differentiating between The Hulk and Captain America. Both of them gained their powers through artificial enhancement... one of them just wasn't on purpose! 😛 Usually, people like to call 'em superheroes because they have powers in some fashion. Thor has abilities because he's an alien.

Also, countdown to when they bring Summer Glau, Amy Acker, and Eliza Dushku onboard.

Well, we've already seen Ron Glass (Shepherd Book).

The first episode was OK, nothing amazing, but given Joss' involvement I'm somewhat hopeful. It'd be nice to see a few cameos from the main Avengers cast.

Why is it so hard for TV executives to produce a good show? At this stage in television production it should'nt be that difficult. But for some reason these networks have a talent for creating some of the corniest and lame shows ever. Anyone remember The Cape? I really hope they don't ruin AoS.

I'm not sure why they made that storyline so convoluted and goofy. The comic version was very straight forward and would have made a great movie plot. I didn't like how they added super strength, agility, and who knows whatever else to the recipients. It was a little over the top.

I hated how they did it in the move. In the comic Stark makes a suit able to withstand Extremis and he still has problems. In the movie they cut through his suits like a knife through butter. it was kinda silly.

It was okay. I wouldn't marathon it, but I'll download, I mean watch weekly as it comes out.

In general network television feels weak compared to HBO/showtime/extended cable. They try to take a something for everyone approach while trying to fit "cool" clichés in to mirror quality tv.

ABC reran it today (...already). I liked it. Will watch again, just going to have to be on demand because I'm not dropping NCIS.

And holy shit, Shepherd Brook. Hope they bring back J. August Richards (?), no reason why they can't try to get Amy Acker aboard.

i lov angel and like the later seasons of buffy. didn't really care for firefly on tv, but loved serenity. Tried to like dollhouse, hated it. Whedon's hit and miss for me, but angel and serenity have me going back just to see how things go.

you uncultured swine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I watched it on Hulu.

I liked the humor. Some laughs mostly kept me interested where I'd otherwise have gotten bored. And the hot chick, dang she's hot.

I'm not normally into these super hero shows. But this kept me entertained just enough. They are going to have to pick up the pace though and develop the characters better.

Watched it last night, seems pretty decent. Wonder ow much $$ they'll be able to pump into every episode to keep the avengers feel.

It should get much better as the hero's and more main characters are introduced. Looking forward to seeing who they are.

yeah. it's like hawaii five-0.

Speaking of Hawaii Five-O, it just premiered last night... death night. I tried dropping this show because I had too much stuff to watch on Monday last season. Nope, too entertaining. Not saying it's that high quality, it's just fun.

Unfortunately, the best part of Hawaii Five-0 is the scenery.

The acting is crap...and the scripts are worse.

Someone should shoot Scott Caan...he's way too much of a whiny bitch to be Danno.

I like the potential premise, but man its so sanitary for the networks that its not even that enjoyable. It feels like it could've aired during Sunday Night Wonderful World of Disney.
They better get some badass heroes in it soon, or I'm gonna give up.

Danno does suck. But go back and watch the original. The acting and scripts were just as crap in that.
