Age Of Mythology

I recently picked up this game because it was only $10 and for the simple fact that I love the Real Time Strategy type games and I have been meaning to pick it up for almost two years. But I decided to finally grab it.

Well, I must say it is one of the best games I have ever played. I have ALL of the Age Of Empires games, and now this one. And in my opinion Mythology is a lot better than AOE.

Anyone else agree ? And is there anyone else still playing this game ? I know its an olde title, but it is great.

Now I just have to pick up the Titans expansion.

AoM was my least favourite of all the Age games, mainly i didn't like the hero aspect of the game.

I reinstall and play Titans every now and then, as a matter of fact *reaches for drawer*.
Pretty fun game for me, I like to play single player, fool around with the mythological units and god powers, just mindless fun overall

I really like that game and still play it sometimes. I love the myth units, heroes, and god powers a lot.

Yea I agree mostly, I think its the god powers that I like the most. Especially when I have a hard time bringing down a village or town and I have the earthquake ability :shocked:

I never played it, it didn't seem to fit with the other AoE games. Course, AoM is 10 bucks or less now, probably worth picking up just to say I have a complete collection.

I agree with that Bateluer, it IS worth picking up for only $10. Only game I need now is Mythology Titans. I have all of the Age Of Empire games now. And all the Command @ Conquer games.

I just have a liking for RTS.

Same here. I've been too captivated with all these new games to play the Titans expansion.

I'd rather see an Age of Empires IV, but with MS killing Ensemble after Halo Wars(snicker), I doubt it will happen. Unless its by another studio. Which I would be apprehensive about after what happened to the Empire Earth franchise.
