um...I've read the original Conan stories, have you? There's very little from the books that happened in the movies.

I am also looking forward to AOC... it is going to have to really good to pull players away from WOW and/or LOTRO.

I have been having all kinds of fun rocking LOTRO the last couple of weeks.

It'll pull some from WoW & LOTR obviously. Most MMOs do pull from one another up to a point but considering how AoC combat system is only the players that dont mind pushing alot of buttons will like it. AoC combat is supposedly going for many combo attacks styles and 'one button push' type players are not going to like it. I wouldnt say only hardcore types will play it but I think it'll attract more hardcore player type than the casual or carebears type.

there also seems to be 2 different collectors editions depending on if you want a mammoth or a rhino as a mount.. each mount exclusive to gamestop and best buy

i wish we had a review from someone who has played it, id hate to drop 90 bucks and then have this game go the way of vanguard and D&D online with hardly anyone playing it

Depending upon the class... combat in LOTRO is fairly intensive... more so the WoW. Although I only played WoW for a little bit (couldn't get into it) so I'm not the best judge.

Warhammer Online was delayed, last i knew they revamped a lot of the core game mechanics based on user input and are relaunching the beta (if they havent already relaunched it).

Yeah, WAR was delayed. Look for it sometime Q3 2008. Which covers July, August, September. It may make it out in June but my money is on July/August personally.

I guessed it is a good thing that they delayed WAR. I thought it coming out in Feb due to Amazon date.

So... I can't wait to play this. I wonder how they'll handle the monthly fees. Why can't it be like Guildwars =\

I'm guessing monthly fee will be around $15 a month. Thats seems to be a common price in MMOs these days. We'll have to wait and see what they come up with.

Everyone from my old WoW guild signed up for the AoC beta. No one got in. :-/

Unless they have some kind of open stress test or demo I'm probably going to stay away until I hear some things about it.
