my only problem with dating people younger than me is when they're under 21... my last SO was 19, and the fact that he was under 21 caused tons of issues. I was forced to make a choice of either going out with him, or going with my friends to the bars.

I'm a big fan of dating people slightly older than me, though. my SO when I was 17 was 24, and I'm currently "pursuing" a 30 year-old.

I don't really care about age. Maturity is what matters to me.

I'm a 26 male and, so far, all the women I've dated have been older. The oldest was 14 years older than me. The others were only a year or two.

Younger, I hesitate more with younger, but if she's mature (attitude) then I'm ok with it.

here's the basic algorithm. You can apply it to a person of any age, more or less.

minDatingAge = math.floor(1/2*myAge + 7) > 20 ? 20 : math.floor(1/2*myAge + 7);
maxAge = myAge*4/3;

20 - male - I don't htink I could date someone much younger than me - 18 year olds carry too much baggage 😛 I'd be willing to date someone two years older than me.

I dated a woman 11 years older than me last year for a few months, but the novelty wore off, and we didn't have enough in common to make it work. I've since lowered my max dramatically. 🙂

Well, this question is moot, since I'm happily married to a woman a couple years younger (but FAR more mature) than I. However, I'm 47yo and attracted to women from 25 or more years younger to 20 years older. Would I "date" or marry someone that far older or younger? Dunno, haven't given that any thought at all, but I guess I might... why not? 😕
